ollie391 74
Some more woodcock/rough shooting from Ireland. This was recorded on the 17th December 2016. We seemed to come on a fall of birds that had arrived in with the recent full moon. We flushed 21 woodcock, 10 of which made it into the bag along with 1 snipe & 1 pheasant. Apologies about all the slow motions, however, it is sometimes quite difficult to pick up the birds without slow motion shots. Thanks for watching https://youtu.be/2-4FX-c_LAc

fat man 4,741
We had some good mornings ourselves recently with 11,8 and more recently 5 and last saturday 2 with a few missed but we think that the area wqe done had been hit before we actually got there as it is a real hot spot for woodcock. My mate and another young lad were out on sunday again in a different area and flushed 12 birds but no kills, lol but my mate accounted for a real good cock pheasant[wild] which is unusual about us as most pheasants are released birds in the last few years and where the bird was shot feeding would be very scarce as its all bog land. This saturday will probably see the last of it for me for this season, might get out for a morning next wk as im working nights but its been a good season.
