just a question why do the heads have to be salmon or trout, surely any fish heads, bar spur dog would be okay to feed the dogs, and as for paying surely fish monger would be glad to give them as there only waste, just like chickens heads and feet, used to get them free and mince them up for calcium in dogs diet.

Just copied this for you grompz.

Salmon also provides important amounts of the antioxidant amino acid taurine. ... Salmon is an excellent source of vitamin B12, vitamin D and selenium. It is a good source of niacin, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, phosphorus and vitamin B6. It is also a good source of choline, pantothenic acid, biotin and potassium.

It's good stuff to feed mate that's why I'm after some.

you can just get salmon oil to add to the dogs dinner.

I've bought the salmon oil samurai.

I'm after the heads as a food source aswell mate.

Used to feed trout and salmon heads, boiled then cooled, mashed up into my old staff's food. My ex brother in law was a fanatical fly fisher and used to catch loads, and I had all the heads for my dog. Like you say king, they're a very good food source. My staff never looked better than when he was on that
