grompz 703 Posted January 20, 2017 Report Share Posted January 20, 2017 just a question why do the heads have to be salmon or trout,surely any fish heads,bar spur dog would be okay to feed the dogs,and as for paying surely fish monger would be glad to give them as there only waste,just like chickens heads and feet,used to get them free and mince them up for calcium in dogs diet. Salmon is an excellent source of vitamin B12, vitamin D and selenium. It is a good source of niacin, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, phosphorus and vitamin B6.
