Nv Scope Mounted Range Finder

Recommended Posts

I know a few people have bought an NV range finder to fit on scope / Photon / Nite Site and after seeing the price of the Nite Site offering, I am looking at some on ebay.

Can anyone confirm if this is the one used, I want it for my Nite Site but not sure about fitting as yet so ideas on that would be welcome.

If this is not the one used, please post a link so I can take a look.

I've just got one of those, they are great but require a picatinny mount. There is another seller on that auction site, selling them with an adjustable mount. They are great for night vision, but you need to be able to see the ir laser report through the scope as they are not a see through unit. With the adjustable mount you can zero it to your crosshairs. With the fixed mount you may not be able to see the laser report, so you may not be ranging what you are aiming at.

Okay Sean thanks. I will have to think about another holding method or try to get a nitesite bracket or copy one.
