I seem to have ruffled your feathers mucker and that was not my intent,my mutts graft as a i state they do and id be embarrassed to lie about their worth or intent. If i say its done with my mongrels thats set in stone and it gets results. You graft yours as your intention dictates and i and my lad do the same.At the end of the day a fox will meet its maker and we both may have seen the odd dead fox, happy hunting. Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Your embarrassing yourself and your lad mort .Not only are you taking backward steps for the breed ,you are undoing years of work by some to keep terrierwork legal which ,just to refresh ,means one dog to ground on a fox .How the hell can you gauge what you are breeding ffs or passing on ,selling .Disgrace . 5 Quote Link to post
Haiddheliwr 1,911
Scent has got much better these last couple of weeks obviously in my opinion down to the weather change. As ive bred terriers that graft as terriers do and my lad possibly does far more terrierwork than the average joe, fact, fact, fact and fact,he only owns Beddy mongrels and a massive rough arsed Deerhoundy lurcher. The biggest gauge for anything ive bred, including kin,is the amount of dead vulpines in his and my mutts wake.I attempted to be gracious and it did not work,i don,t give a flying feck what you or others think or believe, the mutts do all my talking and my lad silences many a dumb critic, with the actions of OUR dogs. Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Lol your not getting it are you mort .Piles of dead foxes and a phone full of pics dosnt replace one fox dug with one dog to ground .You can bang on all night about the virtues of bushing foxes and the tally it brings .If you cant show me one single dog that will work solo on a fox regularly then you are way down there with the likes of Plummer and kind .Dreamers ,messers and breed fuckerupers. 5 Quote Link to post

I once owned a Beddy bitch that did 6 seasons at the sharp end,its the only dog ive ever given a retirement home to.That bitch is the breeding behind any terrier ive worked since. The amount of ground that little slag covered and the the amount of fox the poodle shifted is beyond the capability of many a terrier bred or worked since, fact. The only reason my lad works terriers now is because of the influence of Tilly and any fecking Beddy with Tilly in its lineage is a good-un.Tilly would be ashamed to be represented by the Plummers or any terrier folk that suit your purpose. Squirrel_Basher 17,100
It gets worse .You've owned a decent bitch that I'm guessing ,hoping was single handed and bred it only to double up everything after her .What exactly is beyond the capabilities of many a terrier bred or worked since as that's some statement .I understand your passion ,even the need to impress but for me you are a second rate terrier man with second rate dogs .I knock about with lads who have the real deal beddies and no doubt, had I not met them I would be thinking doubling was the norm .I hope your son gets to see single handed workers and take his forward away from your messed up breeding program . 3 Quote Link to post

Daniel cain 46,535
There's a lad or two on here that have digging beddies-was fortunate enough to witness a bitch do over 7 hrs in a shit of a place few months back -I wouldn't knock them all-there's still a few keeping them right-that I take my hat off too.atb dc 3 Quote Link to post
dillydog 8,477
I'm sure there is the odd one DC but not enough to have any impact on the breed as a whole. I'm sure there's decent lads working them in the ground one on one to see the standards they keep and breed from too but not the vast majority Quote Link to post

Daniel cain 46,535
I understand that dd but credit to the lads that are keeping them going, they are sensible lads that work the dogs one at a time and get results.granted there's not to many but they have the breeds best interests at heart.I'm a blackdog man but still admire any other type that gets results week after week-last few seasons have been an eye opener for me ive met some tidy lads.we keep different dogs but the end game is the same.dog in,one drop, quarry accounted for.we all know folks can embellish a tale but in the end the dog will tell the true story. 3 Quote Link to post
