HPR 1,160
Looking forward to the video of the gwpI could of got some really good ones on Monday . But everyone was slacking so steamed on on my own down all the dykes etc . She was holding point well and retrieving off deep plough . She wasn't 100% doing as she was told though kept wanting to go further than I wanted . But she is still young . And it was the first time I've walked and shot over her properly . She also showed me what these dogs are caperble of . We shot between 6 of us 157 ducks pheasants and partridge . Mainly ducks . And we only had two dogs mine and a black lab . The black lab is a really really good dog mainly used for wild fowling . Both dogs was nackered and the lab refused to go in the water any more . A young lad had shot another 15 ducks in a smaller pond and my bitch did another 13 retrieves then looked at me to say no more . I couldn't believe the effort she put in . She must of done 90 + retrieves that day . And I'd say 65 would of been off the water . For a young dog I was well impressed . When I got home it takes half hour from shoot I took my lab out for a shit and the pointer was wanting to come with me . They've got some drive . 2 Quote Link to post

I think you would be on your way to prison for shooting that many ducks over here. Sounds like you have a good one enjoy! Quote Link to post
