First Cross Wheaton Grey

Alright lads just booked a pup from a first cross mating Wheaton grey ! Had bull X in my time but just wondering what your lads experiences of this X is and what to expect from it cheers

Not a lot if it isn't a working wheaton and there aren't many of them I'd say

Have one here she's 8 now. I got her abit older would have liked her from a pup. Like everything there's a dog for a job just depends what urs is

1st X wheatens can vary a great deal in size a friend had a 20" bitch and Mickc on here had a 27" dog ..

I picked up First x Wheaten grey pup off a fella in north Yorkshire a couple of weeks ago. There from a game keeper kept working wheaten stud put to an ex track racing greyhound bitch. I'm looking forward to it growing up to see what it can do. Early signs are its a fiery little sod! There are a couple of black dog pups left in case anyone's looking for one, coincidentally they're the biggest in the litter as well.

I think Wheaton terriers are great dogs well the 1s of Working stock can be firey tempered f*ckers aswell hope it makes a top grafter for ya pal

Do first cross wheaten pups from wheaten sire and greyhound dam follow sire in colour always or occasionally,

 

have bred bedlington to sight hounds and they have always without fail, followed the sires blue colour and very occasionally liver but never, ever the dams colour whatsoever,

know of black and also brindle 1st x mate - so not always the classic wheaton colour

Firstx, there were some pups rough brindle, same colour as the dam, ATB
