Are the majorityof Plummers still aggresive with other dogs?

I had one (Legion Jade) and she was brilliant with kids and people but would fight anything that moved. She had a tumor and had to be pts and I was gutted. This was 21/2 years ago.

I would have another but my wife didn't like the fact that you couldn't let her near other dogs.

Is the breed still as aggresive?

Do people kennel them in pairs?

What i have seen and i have 2 at home indoors with other dogs and know about 30 plummers personaly is that they are a lot more mellow than they used to be.I myself go out with 3 different lads who have plummers and apart from a couple of scuffles we have had no probs, saying that there are a couple of dogs who shall we sat put up with each other when we are out but bring on something to hunt and all is forgotten. All the lads i know kennel their plummers in pairs, some won't kennel with others ,but as with people we don't like everyone we work with and we wouldn't want to live with them either.I have not seen any bother at any of the terrier shows around the country this year either with plummers fighting each other(seen a couple of judges snapped at)seen a pic this week of 13 plummers out ratting together this week and they just had thier minds on the job.As with all breeds though you will get some who just won't play ball,i'm sure you could find one with out the probs mate as most folks now do use them for all sorts of work and most pups bred will have had a good bit of thought put into them.

Theres always the odd rogue thats bad tempered with other dogs  but generally they mix and pack quite well, as you might see from the pics fireman has pointed you to. It goes for all types of terriers, theres a few that arent very sociable but I would say they are the exception to the rule, and if theres work to do you will find the dogs more interested in the work than a fight. Theres a coalville dog amongst them in the top few pics :)
