Walking a girlfriend home in 1985 and my mates wife came running out of one of her neighbours screaming that her husband had gone crazy and had a gun

He sees me from across the road walks over all pissed up and upset with a browning 5 shot and a belt of cartridges slung over his shoulder

I try to calm him down he puts the gun in my stomach I thought this is the end of me i push the gun away empty the chamber and run like fxck to try and catch up with my girlfriend

whilst on a moutain biking holiday in spain, hurtling down a rocky track, back wheel skipped out on a wet rock, sent me and bike into a bush. Was'nt till after I was hauled out of said bush with my mates and our guides all laughing like Hyenas, realised it was the only thing stopping me from from a very long long drop.

When I was an under keeper we were putting posts in on the rearing field, head keeper in a front loader full of stone for weight me holding posts up to get pushed in, it used to slip sometimes but I watched it close, anyway one time bit of hard ground and the loader almost had front wheels off the ground post splits loader comes crashing down smack on the top of my head I think if I was standing straight might of killed me but was crouched and bent over so just flattened me was out for only a few seconds

5 years ago i flipped a Yamaha r1 at approx 70mph mid wheelie( I used to touch down at 110-20) , I was on a duel carriage way at 2am with 2 other mates on bikes . the road melted my leathers I had sever road rash broken ankle, wrist and 2 ribbs ,very lucky. My gear cost more than the bike had saved my life. it felt like I was sliding and tumbling for minuets genuinely believed I was going to die. The road was empty and luckly I hit no road furniture. 6months I was back in action.

I still ride bikes,I still wheelie off road bikes. I don't play on the road now ,purely because of the Mrs and kids not worth it. Die to ride ,ride till I die
