Im just wondering if enyone can help me on some info on my lurcher pup size he is 15 weeks of age and around 18 inch tts I took him out today and another dog walker stopped and asked me his age when I told him he said he won't grow any bigger then what he is now maybe 20 inches he can't be right he's an collie whippet greyhound x whippet greyhound anyone else with this cross how tall

What cross is your pup and what size dam and sire most dogs show knuckle at 15 weeks that means still growing to do some stop around 7 months old but know a few to put an inch on at 12 months main guide is the lines they are from/

The wrist on the front legs in young dogs gives the appearance of being swollen in leggy dogssome people think its calcium deficiency its actually the growth platelets allowing more growth in height when growingis finished the platelets knit. aS othersw have stated throw backs can occur Ive seen sal/grey/whippet crosses from the same litter 20 inch tts to 27 tts usually the dams size is usually a reasonable guide as if the pups growto the larger animals its cesarian time,

even if he does make 20''.he'll be an excellent ferreter,rabbit lamper,ratter,moocher.more than likely punch above his weight on other things to.look at the possitives.
