delswal 3,819
Guy on tv Noel Conway is challenging the government for the right to die. He is suffering from motor neurone disease, and wants to die when he feels the time is right. Do you agree with him? I for one do, 100% I do.
walshie 2,804
Yes, me too. It's his life and he's the one who will have to live with his disability. Who is anyone else to tell him he has to suffer?

Who is anyone else to tell him he has to suffer? My thoughts entirely, why should he? How dare anybody condemn another person to a life of suffering knowing that they is no cure? MATTI 34
It should be your god given right if sound of mind but suffering beyond the realm's of your being, you should not be forced to live out the rest of your days in pain & indignity,
keepitcovert 842
Must be a right bummer if you are incapable of taking your own life, and are forced to suffer the humiliation of being incapable of ending your own life, of course you should have the choice you are only shortening the inevitable.
DogFox123 1,379
It's criminal to think that you can be prevented from that right....
Lab 10,979
Surely this is a 100% agree topic to be able to end your own life. Let's see!!!
Tiercel 6,986
It does seem that the law is an ass on this subject. You can commit suicide quite legally, as it is not a crime. Yet pass someone a bottle of pills and you have as good as murdered them in the eyes of the law. TC

Malt 379
It was decriminalised by the 1961 suicide act, you cant get done for it in other words. What use that is in real terms I dont know though!
ginger beard 4,652
don't think anybody should be made to murder somebody else.i wouldn't want my relatives to feel pressured to die because there being a little burden on the rest of the family.where will it stop?.first this, then a terminal illness but still got another year until were killing relatives because they feel unwell.we should all try to save not kill.if you want to go it will have to be whiskey and revolver time on your own.
