What are you doing posting man? Grab a gun right away and forget about us all!!! LOL its not as easy as grabbing a gun!! i phucking wish it was all game has a season,some shorter than others. you have to buy 'game tags' for the species. the province is split up into zones. some zones are 'open',these you buy a tag for that particular beast and off you go,but those zones are hectic with other hunters. some zones are 'draw',so you put your name in and hope for the best...eg mate has been waiting 12 yrs to hunt an elk. EDIT here is a link to the seasons,tag prices etc http://publications.gov.sk.ca/documents/66/93283-2016%20Hunters%20and%20Trappers%20Guide.pdf beaver,coyote and pigs are open all year round. you dont need a fur license to shoot coyotes but if you want to skin them you have to buy a license. once the end of may arrives you cant get across the fields as the farmers have sown the crops. winters are bad,at the moment its -26c with the windchill -35c or more. hope this explains it a bit more one good thing is,if farmers land doesnt have a sign up saying 'No Hunting' off you go,drive your truck and get hunting. no night hunting allowed,full stop Edited February 9, 2017 by Ted Newgent Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Lamping forbidden except for some certain municipalities where rabbits are pest. Pigs at night telling the authorities the where and when without roaming the place.
