Pip66 40 Posted January 5, 2017 Report Share Posted January 5, 2017 The hairy bikers do a rabbit stew, it has smoked bacon, plenty of cider and takes a couple of hours of cooking but well worth it, you'll need to google it as I don't know how to do links but it's easy to find, can't recommend it highly enough. I think it's just the older rabbits that have a funny taste but the milk over night should sort that Atb Quote Link to post
Tiercel 6,986 Posted January 6, 2017 Report Share Posted January 6, 2017 The reason rabbits have that smell is because they are not cleaned properly, you have to take the scent glands out, otherwise it taints the meat and gives off that horrible smell when cooking. Once the scent glands are out it's fine. Take a look at the video 9 . 50 in he shows you where the scent glands are. TC Quote Link to post
