Flipper_Al 1,012
lots of updates http://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-550-100-Desktop-PC-series/8499648/model/11906016 Updated the BIOS - not easy when you don't even know what a BIOS is, but completed successfully. Doesn't make any difference though. Next is the chipset drivers, will be on the same page that you got the bios updates Have a read here as well http://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c03383935 When i worked for B&Q, we put in 6000 HP machines, these were a mixture of laptops and desktops, most were fine but about 30% had this wake up issue, its a pain some where fixed by the bios update, others the chipset.. some we ended up turning off sleep mode as nothing would resolve the issue,

lurcherman 887 13,297
I got a new desktop a while back preloaded with windows 10. Seems to work fine except one thing. When it goes into sleep mode if it hasn't been used for a while, it won't wake up. Moving the mouse or pressing a key is supposed to wake it up, but it doesn't. I hear it whirring and trying to wake up but i have to switch it off then on again to get it to work. It seems to be a fairly common issue, but there doesn't seem to be one solution to answer to it. Anyone else have this? Told you not to buy stuff from the boot sale

That's why I also buy my cars instead of making them.
