The one 8,509
When i first bought the gun it was rare to have any problems with her we just checked the zero and went out and shoot as many rabbits as we saw with her . But a while ago when my son went to pick up a rabbit the stud came out the sling and the barrel bounced off the ground the gun was taken to a gunsmith who straightened the barrel and sighted her . but since then we have had no end of problems we check the zero before we go out get to my work and its off again we check it in a car park and can shoot bottle tops from 40 yards them miss the next few rabbits and i felt it was loosing power to quickly . now i feel ive had enough but before slinging it and buying a new rifle and scope i want to take the scope off it check it all over and if need be swap the same scope over from another gun too see if that makes any difference but my son says take it to another gunsmith get it choro,d and see what he says ??? si brown 8,486
I've bashed/bent barrels climbing over gates twice now and there never the same again! all they do in the shop is roll it on a table and try and bash it straight! so i chopped them in as not having to sell them on and I'm a lot more careful now atb si Quote Link to post

The one 8,509
I always let my son zero it before we go out and its spot on everytime we leave the house its seriously getting to me as every outing its costing me rabbits and ive got to let the ground settle before we next go there and if im going to put it on a certificate i need it to be correct , its really really feckin annoy because i only use it on my work and we where regularly getting 70 odd rabbits a time and i figure we could hit the ton but im getting nothing but bother but im going to make these changes them look at a new air arms Quote Link to post
The one 8,509
There's no shame to the gun it cost me £75 then I spent over £300 getting the bottle hoses sling mounts and scope so another £100 for a new scope seems okay Quote Link to post
