DIDO.1 22,830
I collect first ww1 medals. It's a touchy subject as many people find buying and selling medals uncomfortable. All my medals are researched. I seek to list them on medal finding websites so family could locate them. I also through the same sites seek to find other medals belonging to the same person so they are all together. I visit Belgium sometimes and plan to visit France, where possible I will try to visit their grave if they died out there. Common ww1 medals are worth about £30 each with certain regiments and casualties worth more. That's a very very basic valuation of course!
