Moving On..

Comes a time when we have to make the regretable decision as to retire our old faithfulls. After a painfull spell of waiting, driving my self around the bend. My old bitch as now retired, she's been a reliable companion and put her fair share of fluff to bed. However a while ago she took a real bad knock, resulting in a knackered tendon in her back leg and her career coming to an end. Dont know who it hurts more her , or me to leave her behind?

Any how as its a new year so onward and upward its time for my youngster to take the lead now and hopefully she can keep on as she's doing. Don't know if she will ever full the old girls boots but il give her my best shot in doing so.

Cheers Taffey, Fuji money couldn't buy the joy I've had with her. No super dog but she allways earnt her keep and kept me smiling. Looking back I may have asked to much of her at times but she never buckled and allways got the job done. As I say weather or not the youngster steps upto the mark who knows but I'm sure we will have some fun together. And that's what it's all about ? that was my next question,is she pure saluki,shes a nice looking dog too...I think you should put a quality greyhound dog on her and send me on a pup lol...sad when they get too old,my dogs days re drawing near too,hoping for another 12 months at least

sad to retire one for sure but your left with a load of great memories and a whole new challenge schooling your pup very best of luck pal, and your right its about getting out and enjoying them more than anything else

Sure is a sad time when it's time to hang there gloves up, but it comes to us all inc our dogs. Jigsaw its something il cross when it comes to the time but it's also something I would consider in future may be. See how things play out,,.make sure she's worth her salt and all. luck on my side we will be all right ?
