dave mac 58 Posted January 1, 2017 Report Share Posted January 1, 2017 was up earlyish picked the missis up from work,we had breakfast and i was out with the 2 terriers for a look about, had to cable tie my leggings as the button on the loop snapped off, got to my usual parking spot and it was all taped off with coppers tape, parked up, it was hammering it down collars on the dogs and off we go , i had my head down as i was walking and noticed some slots was thinking there to big for mutty to big for roe and just as i looked up the 2 dogs were off 4-5 fallow just ahead well no good shouting them back, walked on to the wood, 10 mins later and they came back, i thought best to put them on the lead, which made it more of a ball ache, got to a spot that holds afew rabbits lets them off had agood 10 mins, moves off dog looks at a kick out only small in he goes i grab the bitch just in case, he turns round in there comes out so i grab him,put him on the lead the bitch gets free and dives in well by now im soaked glasses all steamed up, she comes out so i move off sharply just going to put her on the lead and she winds summut and off she flys, dog now boucing on the lead doing cart wheels.5 mins and she is back, on the lead, walks on to another spot lets the dogs off and there mooching in the bramble,im looking around and notice alot of feathers white ones sadly in the bramble was a dead swan it must of hit the pylon wires above,put dogs on and headed back to the motor, not the best start to the year, beats sitting at home though, Quote Link to post
