C.green 3,231
lol I had a run of bad luck similar to you few weeks ago 2 good strong dogs both out of action just as the season was getting busy hopefully coming out the other side now. That dry cow stuff is good for the cuts you haven't spotted straight away if they've turned abit funny I really rate the stuff allways handy to have a tube in the cupboard. 2 Quote Link to post

Sirblessed 2,511
At least there is no muscle damage, looks like it will heal ok. Shit luck you are having mate hope it turns around. If you had local anesthetic you could trim the edge make it fresh and stitch. 1 Quote Link to post

slip lead 862
If you shave round the edges,(ive found nose trimmers good) and super glue butterfly stitches, it will help close it up a bit, and speed up recovery, also purple spray then wound powder, works like a plaster without covering it up. socks 32,253
Thanks for all the advice lads but I kinda now what I'm doing ;-) it's only a superficial skin tear ... simply keeping it clean with salt water will have it healed in 7 days ... her mother Tilly had a very similar injury at about the same age ....... 2 Quote Link to post
slip lead 862
No worries fella, salt water works, just found other methods better, when they still need working. Quote Link to post
