mackem 26,955
Havent used that particular one mate, but you can get an acorn similarly priced from e-bay,i just read on an archery forum some guy had his trailcam stolen BUT it was a model that sent pics to his mobile phone, the thief turned it on and it captured and sent pics of him and his wife in their bedroom, the archer posted them on his facebook page Do you know this guy sort of thing, the pic got loads of shares, the camera appeared on his porch delivered at night.
stuartpengs 19
Bought one recently and used it for the first time a couple of weeks ago at a permission where the landowner suspected he had a fox on the prowl around the farm. I bought the Acorn 6210mc and it's a doddle to use. Left it for a couple of nights with some dead rats as bait. Very handy piece of kit. You can set it to film or photo and buy the sim add-on so it sends you pics via SMS if you want. And here he is

Thanks Lanesra, no it's the same spot, just some kind of artifact on the screen or something hanging down in front of the lense Note the rats on the left in all the shots. Greyman 28,769
I,ve got a couple of stealth cams absolutely sound, had them set on a tiny little old bridge last night it's not much more than a plank Over a stream it's totally hidden in the hedges and I have to crawl in on my hands and knees to set them and retrieve them, sadly I dropped my knife when I set them so was up early to get them before someone found my knife which I use to cut the cable ties I use to keep the cam in place, thinking if someone finds knife then finds cams they have the means to remove them, anyway got there earlyish no sign of footprints in the frost sound, no sign of my knife not so sound, both cameras still there, so took cameras home just uploaded the pictures and there is some fat bloke stumbling around tangled in brambles in pitch blackness shouting f**k, I suspect he may have found my knife but luckily not the cameras,

I'm there and ask him if he found my knife, if not it may remain a mystery, but if so I will know who was in the middle of a hedge in pitch blackness, I,ll report back if I find out more

Greyman 28,769
How long to do you chaps leave your trail cams in place before collecting them ? The wife bought me one a few years back but i forgot where id left it ! as I grow in confidence, longer and longer, but the first few times I set them, it was last knockings to set them and pick them up as soon as it got light, I was terrified they would be found and stolen, but having caught quite a few people walking past them with out clocking them I now leave them for a week or two if there in a quiet spot, I have found other people's cameras set in the same field as mine before, it amazes me how blatantly people put them considering they are not cheap to buy, I,ve never taken anyone else's and I hope karma will pay me back
