mackem 27,484
I do wish you would stop with all this vintage nonsense, you are forcing me to search even harder for a BSF b55 bavaria now, aaaaaaaaaagh. How very exotic,or an anchutz 335.......... Quote Link to post

charlie caller 3,654
I had a couple of mercury's and liked them (still do) never progressed to the S model as the HW80 came out and that was it, bought a .177 and a top of the range Kassnar scope, and oh my days, I was dropping stuff out at ranges that mates with their airsporters Vulcans etc could not believe, I bought the B55 for a song from a long gone rfd that did not really know what it was, well it turned out to be a real wolf in sheeps clothing, it was tuned with some super export spring in it, never did know what power it was kicking out, but lets just say it was rather flat shooting for a .22, anyway having always had a liking for (still do) a good pump up rifle, Like an idiot I swapped it for a Sharp Innova, as they had only just come out, the Sharp was a good rifle, but I always kick myself when I remember how good that B55 was, yes happy days. 2 Quote Link to post
