Did the terrier or lurcher catch the pheasant?My lurchers wont touch anything with feathers,never taught not to just not interested.

Yes the lurcher catch it then the pup tuck it off it was well pleased

same here mine is dam near scared of feathers he must been mugged by a chicken as pup or some thing. He started picking up pigeons this summer then throwing them like they were going to bite his nose off

My 2 whippet/stags will watch parrots feeding in the back yard fascinated, retrieve rabbits unharmed,but go ballistic on foxes and even worse with possums,not interested in cats.
