Faulty Phone.

I took out a contract at Carphone Warehouse on a Samsung S7 Edge around 3 months back. The phone is constantly freezing and crashing and is unusable. I rang EE yesterday and they advised me to take it to Carphone Warehouse. The lady there said I have to send it back to Samsung as it's still under warranty. She said being near Xmas time it might take over a month. I'm not happy at all with this as I'm paying for my phone as well as the contract in the month I won't be able to use it. Where do I stand on the matter?

Ask them for a full refund and if they refuse show them a video of you on the pads- they'll probably shit themselves and give you a refund and a bit of compo.

Happened to me and carphone warehouse gave me a replacement phone till mines was back.

I need a smart phone for work and the lass said they won't give you a smart phone for a replacement. I don't want the phone repairing tbh I just want to exchange it for an iPhone. Is there any way around it? Surely I should be given some compo?

Yeah I'm going to ring them. I'm paying for the phone in my contract as well as the sim. With me not having the phone for around a month to have it fixed then surely they must give me some compensation.

are you the sort of person who would trip over a loose pavement slab then want to sue.?if you need a smart phone for work get them to provide one.it's a little inconvienence hardly cause for compensation.

They said the phone will be sent back to Samsung to be fixed. If I'm being honest I don't want the piece of shit fixing or a new Samsung either. I want an iPhone and would be willing to put towards but can't see them having that.

F**k the iPhone. I know you've had problems with your individual unit, but my s7 has been spot on from release day. My daughters have iPhone's and they are absolutely pants in comparison. I use my phone like a PC, it totally covers about 90% of our entertainment needs and because it plays nice with other tech, I even use it to process photos from my digital camera.

The phone is fcuked after 3 months, I don't see why I should wait over a month to either get it repaired or exchanged. I'll never go with Samsung again, they might have all the gadgets but don't hold a candle to an iPhone for function or reliability.

Tbh it's the second S7 I've had, the first one crashed occasionally but this one is fooled. The hardware on the phone is great but the software is pants imo.
