walshie 2,804
The first one looks photoshopped to me. Its head isn't in proportion with its body. Second one looks real. Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
The lad who's holding it is on FB, he posted on it earlier, its a decent sized average fox BUT he's holding it away from his body toward the camera. He posted another with it close to him and its nowt that special. He put it up on a shooting page as a bit of a joke, as the photo looks so impressive but it wss forwarded on and has gone viral, he asked for it to be removed but.... Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Photo shopped for the gullible .last pic is true though .Had a few like it here .Foxes are never as big as first thought though.A 20 pounder is a big fox . A 20 pounder is indeed a big fox, so I'd love to see these 40 pounders that make the papers every year. We used to weigh them regularly and I have a photo here of two 21 lb dog foxes and a 19 lb vixen dug in the one earth. That was some trio of specimens. The last fox I weighed was around 7 or 8 years ago and he was one I snared. He was a whopper who weighed 18 1/2 pounds. I might start carrying a spring balance again out of interest. Incidentally, as far as I can remember the once great Guinness Book of Records when it recognised proper records (you can get into it now for eating the most cream crackers in a minute) said that the record for a fox was a 28 pounder. That was one that was shot. The heaviest killed by a hunt was 23 pounder killed by the Ullswater in the 30s. Quote Link to post
leethedog 3,071
Stuffed or not I don't care what anyone says that is one huge fox even in the first photo the size of the hand compared to the head 1 Quote Link to post
j1985 1,984
It was my mate who shot it, he sent me the pic first thing plus the others. He was on a wind up and succeeded as the pics getting shared all over the place, think it was a light hearted dig at the numerous other similar pics posted recently. 100% not photoshopped ??
