Nothing needs clarification walshie im asking lads that put posts up whether it worth doing so the hunting ban has no effect on my hunting and 100s of others up and down the country.if it was overturned tomorrow it wouldn't change the way I personally hunt

The amount of fuss made because of one friendly warning, I dread to think what anyone would do if they got a knock at the door.

 

But they won't be getting one through being retarded and posting illegal pics on here.

That's your opinion and I respect it. Same as I can't get my head around the fuss of a hare bieng in a pic with a bag full of rabbits taken off permission.

 

There's been some cracking posts and pictures put up over the time I've been on here its what makes the site worth logging into I'm just wondering if the time has come to keep these outings and pictures to ourselves even if it's a days ferreting on permission.

I agree with you mate I understands don't bring the attention to yourself but there is so many loopholes in the law, a law posting a photo of a dead hare saying shot and retrieved gets a warning and spoke to like s shot by a mod, mod or no mod I garuntee how they talk to people on here wouldn't say a word to anyone on the outside, if the lad has said shot ant retrieved who are we to say he's lieing just because he hasn't got a gun in the back photo? I personally couldn't care a flying f**k if it's that big of an issue let the police do the investigating, I'm sure all receive a load of abuse now of the brown nosers that one day hope to be a mod themselves haha

If you really need to put up pictures that may be incriminating on the internet then feck off to Facebook, where you can put up what you like. Simples....

I swerve Facebook for that reason but to me there's a difference between posting illegal nights out and an accidents while involved in a legal days hunting. I forget the posters name now but there used to be some cracking pics on here of his dogs doing the odd retrieve and as far as I can remember everyone enjoyed the pictures no warnings or arguments about them as they were sensible.

the hare that was in the pic from nottzhunter was mine, i go with them and bag a few rabbits and hopefully a hare, all for the pot. my gun was not in pic because we were back home and the gun was packed away. he has no worries as a clear headshot wound is visible, but i guess in the future he will have to be more careful to keep them out the pic or make it obvious what kills are mine

This ain't for the moderators this is aimed towards lads like myself who enjoy reading other people posts and the different terrains and what other lads get upto. So has the time now come to stop posting any outings on sites like these and just keep it to a close few ?

I don't think its a case of anyone on here being offended! Surely you must realise that its not only the hunting fraternity reading posts on this forum and it is them that we need to be aware of continually! If everyone posted responsibly and obviously be aware of the Hunting Act then it would not pose a problem! Stay safe lads but more important stay together we cannot afford for any further forms of hunting to be taken away from us. ATB
