Mounting The Yukon Photon Xt

Recommended Posts

I love to drive Bentley,s and super cars as well mac and i have also worked my bollocks off to have some nice things in life , no one has given me anything only advice in life.

The way i look at it is , I don't go out drinking 4-5 nights of the week and not every weekend now . the money i save by that, it can go towards something like shooting gear

The comment i made saying " One day you will buy a decent NV unit " was a bit of tongue in cheek

Like i have said if it works for you then great ,whether it's a £2 torch or £5000 thermal scope

Pav was extremely kind enough to drop me a message today about the Photon, he's been a wealth of knowledge and advice ????????

Firstly I hadn't taken the centre out of the cover, that has made a big difference in the quality of the sight picture. Secondly I should have been going out to 10 yards and virtually bore sighting the scope with the mounts not touching the scope. Once this has been done, then going out to say 30 yards and using the scope one shot zeroing mode.

Cheers Pav ???? Another true gentleman off the forum ??????

Hahaha cause not Jon, that be far to easy lol

I've got the mounts on just need to zero it, fingers crossed it'll be sorted on Friday.

It's no fun if it's too easy mate.

Ask my feckin missus

Generaly I have treated my wives like my cars, once they've become problematic I've traded them in lol

Or it was the other way round and they traded me in, I can't remember :angel::angel:

I've still not tried it yet, however it is fitted to the gun now. I'll see how I get on with it and then report back :censored::censored: lol
