neil cooney 10,416
Was at a works do one year and most of the staff were heavy drinkers. The boss left 2000 behind the counter. Lads shoved shorts and cocktails down their throats for an hour or two and spent most of the night getting sick in the toilets. The pub owner handed the boss back most of his money at the end of the night. The funniest works do was watching two of my workmates face down on the bonnet of a cop car with their hands handcuffed behind their backs. The hotel manager said she'd never take another booking from our village.

Gaz_1989 9,539
I met my missus at the works do 10 years ago. Absoloutley rat arsed, shoved my hand up her dress and got a slap for my troubles ? I was only 18, she was 29 and we didn't end up getting together for another 5 years but it was enough to start off the friendship. Place I work at now doesn't have one. Probably for the best.

bell 3,601
The one that always makes me chuckle was 20 years ago.....a nightclub was hired out with drinks and a coach back at the end of the night. It all got out of hand on the way home and the coach driver drove straight to the police station !! Haha, great memories.
