that's true kanny but when I walk the dogs i.m out of breath after 10 mins ,smoked a lot of fags and a shit lot of weed and its really starting to tell

I have smoked for the last 36 years trying to give it up have gone 5 weeks without one its ok if your doing something but after a few stellas at night its murder

well done mate don't fookin crack , the booze will really test you . I stopped fags 25 years ago, cut the booze down to 1 can a night in the house, and 3-4 cans on sat night. the booze as got me in to trouble over the years , I done things that I never do sober . yep I am better bloke for it regards the fags, my old mom smoked for 50 years she died 77 , but the last 5 years of her life , she could hardly talk proper , the fags had damaged her voice box, it was terrible to see her like it, it broke my heart , she tried tons of time to pack the fags , but could never do it , it was smoking killed her in end. even though ive stopped 25 years ago , my lungs are not what they should be ive lost some lung capacity yep keep at it mate , fight it like I did don't be a slave to cigarettes .!!

suppose im one of the lucky ones then, or my dna make up, i do about 20 rolls up a day, and every day im out with my dogs, and i walk miles, my lady isnt in the best of health, and i do everything here,, housework, clean my own windows top n bottom, shopping, pay the bills, cant ever remember last time i ailed out, ive not got the time to be ill, eh, watch me pass away in my sleep tonight

It's a good point nik ...so do the benifits of destressing with your chosen poison out way the harm? ...I think like most of life it all comes down to balance. ...do anything to much and your wheels are going to fall of

I knew a farmer who outlived two wives and chained smoked all his life.

In retirement the only radio he had was in his Ford Fiesta and he'd sit in the car reading the paper, listening to the radio and chain smoking.

You couldn't see into the car for smoke. He also drank a few pints every night.

He lived 'till his mid 90s and I think he had a brother who seen the same age.

 

Yet, you often hear of young people dropping dead nowadays.

I think alcohol causes the most antisocial behaviour,but i remember when smoking was allowed on aircraft,f***ing hell imagine that now,and when i was a kid it was like living inside a smoke filled lung with both of my parents kicking out ciggie smoke like puff the magic f***ing dragon,what a noxious habit,you can smell a smoker.

People who go on about relatives smoking late in life I understand, Ive family members who have smoked late in life BUT the quality of life and overall health in comparison to a non smoker who's the same age is miles away,

I think that many people who smoke and drink too much are trying to balance 'life' in reality they're just trying to cope. I was one of them, the idiots that pay for everything and end up dying early. My main philosophy in life now is to to pay almost no tax regardless of if I have to turn down work.

 

If more people do this the retards in power will realise who they work for
