They seem too work well, them traps,......( & that first wee film he made, was good),.....but, ive never felt the need to try them, myself,........ Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 493
What a guy, another who took time to answer my daft questions and help me out, why did he leave here? You need to have a 'thick skin', on here ? lol 1 Quote Link to post
northern lad 2,292
Hes a big miss on here Clive, helped me on numerous occasions whilst starting out.I bought some Putanges but they don't seem to work that well here due to the light peaty soil, though I did have some success around patios with them. bunnyboiler 1,053
He helped me out and took the time to message me back and put me right and help others which I think upset the old timers on here who wanted it kept hush hush and all for them selfs they'll be having an heart attack when they see this new vid fair play to him ha ha ha 5 Quote Link to post
smithie 2,443
I dont think you can fail if you follow his instruction. But I like the tunnels as that's what I lernt on and the original putange is fine for me.. Quote Link to post
earth-thrower 493
TC Just watched this, & i must say, another good informative film, for fans of these traps ? Hes also very generous, as far as 'disclosing' what hes learned, about 'mole habits'. But, its nothing 'new' for those of us,who have been at it, a good while ? Maybe, if i was in France, & had the scope he has there, & little in the way, of competition, (it seems ?),.....i would want too 'blab' on , about everything i know, in order to help any 'fellow countrymen', back home, with less experience,.......(but then again, i doubt it ! ha ha),....he maybe deserves some praise though, for trying to be genuinely helpful,...(i suppose) Edited December 15, 2016 by earth-thrower 3 Quote Link to post
mole trapper 1,693
Clives a top bloke, if people can't take the heat (competition) they should stay out the kitchen. A lot of us who have really been doing it for a living have been free with our help, except pricing in my case, as the question gets on my moobs, lol. There are in my opinion still far too few moleys to cope with the work out there. 6 Quote Link to post

"There are in my opinion still far too few moleys to cope with the work out there.",....Well, thats an interesting statement ? (& surprised me, a bit,to be honest lol),......unless, you dont 'rate' , the ones that are out there, nowadays ? (cause theres loads ! as if you didnt know ?, cmon,..lol),.....In fact , i would go as far as too say, there are enough, mole catchers, now ! (& an awful lot seem 'capable', & are learning fast ?,.....& no wonder ?) 1 Quote Link to post
tilimangro 1,013
You can't teach mole trapping There's loads of stuff that you need to have a feel for That goes for trapping in general It's instinctive There's a lot of mole trappers out there but not many good ones Quote Link to post
smithie 2,443
You can't teach mole trapping Your teaching the wrong person.. or your a better mole catcher than a teacher 2 Quote Link to post
