they make it easy for me to be fair which is a bonus, they work close and never drop in or feck off, i grew up around gun dogs, labs and spaniels and id not be able to train any dog to that standard but as im after out and out bushers theres no need obviously,

went out with a lad years ago one his had drop beagle in the mix, cant remember it working any different to the spaniel x terriers, worked the hedges and dykes at a steady pace and certainly never fecked off on a line sure he going to add drop back into his spaniel x terrier he has now so what it brings i dont know lol.

the lads that do the large areas and want a dog to range out long way from you have got the use for plenty beagle in the mix it seems, only what iv seen on here though.

how much is enough to make any difference and how much is to much and you need miles of permission to follow the fecker i dont know sure someone will enlighten me lol,im a not broken dont try fix it type so stick with what i have cheers

Good reply mate, I like the beagle x's they suit me there more biddable than a pure. I like mine to get on a line but not to go to far. The x's don't hunt like hounds so no need to chace them for miles. Couple of shouts and there usually back. You got some handy little mooching dogs pal there a credit to you. Alb with your little pup?
