I know there totally different guns had a 97 few years bk served me very well should never of sold it but got chance of both got some permission with a lot of ferals on some needing long range shots just wanting some views on both please lads cheers

The Rapid will be easier for hunting. You'll have more shots to hand and, you'll be able to take longer accurate shots than with the 97.

Go for it and try some AA Field Heavy pellets 18gr, so accurate in mine....................................Rapid every time but I am still new to both the Rapid and FAC but very pleased so far.

It's the mk2 version one with stock that comes under trigger used some logun pellets tonight in a square plastic tub inside a bag ?? Never seen them before shot a crow at 65 yards tonight well impressed with it awesome bit of kit ended up getting it for 325 quid and a bottle of port cheers lads for your help

Including silencer it's 28" are there any specific pellets these guns like ? I have some logun pellets with it and shoots them just nice wondered as it's 21ftlb will it deform other pellets thanks again

Magnums mate. Assuming it's .22. Maybe see what fields can do... but I think that's up at the limit of the pellet. I think they're ok around 15-20 so 22 might be pushing it.
