I phoned a few days ago, one of my collars had packed up and wouldn't take a charge. I checked the serial number on it against the box it came in and some gent had swapped mine for a dud ! I asked B &F to check on their file to give me a name so I could put it right and slap some sense into the c**t who'd done it, in short they refused.

I'm not going to defend the indefensible but they wouldn't tell me a name, they might of had their arm twisted ?

If bellman sell a collar and charger for 100 pound-then it can't be to hard to source the transmitters and make a plastic mould?different shape you can't be done for copyright? Why should they have the monopoly like deben have it with the ferrets?every avalanche finder the world over transmitter and box use same fequency so can be used-be a good business opportunity for someone .atb dc

I've always found B&F to be decent and helpful. And they sell some decent stuff too. I'm not interested in boycotting them or whatever but I think they need to offer some sort of guarantee or protection against customer details being leaked as it isn't good and doesn't fill you with confidence.

But they did have a register of the serial number against the original customer though?

They have to keep a record of who had what and when to comply with the guarantee

All well and good that side of things but to share details with a third party ain't on and I'm sure requires your full knowledge as there's no disclaimer on the invoice ,just looked .
