Onlyworkmatters 1,584
At the end of the day if you are practicing terrier work with in the law and have a good vet record the law isn't your main concern anyway surely A bit naive that in all honesty mate Quote Link to post
leethedog 3,071
May be . If my dog has ANY injury it goes to the vet .vet time is free and 25% discount on all Meds so that's the cruelty to the dog counted out permission slip signed to hunt fox within the law on pheasant shoot and a gun present for a clean dispatch on bolt if no bolt get dog out stand well back and he will bolt all within the law . Granted you may get hassle . But you are practicing within the law Edited December 16, 2016 by leethedog Quote Link to post
Haiddheliwr 1,911
I agree with your view Glyn that this thread is bad news but it has brought to light that B+F is able to give personal details of every collar that has ever been purchased! WHY should they have a record of customers? That is the answer in my opinion do not hold private, personal details of purchasers! Surely that would be problem solved! 1 Quote Link to post

They have to keep a record for the warranty I would have said. But they would seriously be in the shit if they shared anyone's details. As it would be a breach of data protection act. 2 Quote Link to post
Haiddheliwr 1,911
The only reason I stated that the thread was bad news was the RSPCA comment insinuating badger baiting with collars yet again! Plus the fact some lad is probably going to lose his terrier as in so many cases. The rest I stand by hence why I am so passionate that this does and should not happen again. If B+F have some form of data base then it should be classified and PRIVATE not open to interfering so called animal loving hypocrites! Thank you Shovel shy for the post I am positive you have made others enlighten us all as to what B+F are capable of doing. ATB 1 Quote Link to post

Haiddheliwr 1,911
I would certainly hope it would be a breach of the data protection act but it has been said previously certain organisations do have this information surrendered to them by B+F!! Quote Link to post

C.green 3,231
Feck the b&f collars off lads if that's the case and they do give out your address I would not be pleased with that myself they make enough out of terrier men without giving out addresses. 2 Quote Link to post
jiggy 3,209
Rung B and F and they declined to comment !!!!at least you were first to ring and have the balls to find out for real the next step I would do bud is ring on private and tell them you are from rspca and would like to trace an owner of a lost and found pouch. I would do this myself but fortunately we are working legally in Eire and have nothing to hide so ispca can go fcuk 3 Quote Link to post
