Most scrumpy out of a bottle or can is ok ... not a patch on fresh from a wooden barrel in some backyard farm but ok all the same .......

Any one tryed luis 13th brandy

I dont really drink expensive stuff but ive got a few quid tied up in vintage wines/brandies etc are you into the old Remy Martins then ?

An old farmer who used to come in the pub bought a load of vintage brandy for £6k back in 1999 had it valued in 2010 at 14k. Dont matter to him he,s been in a care home for last 3 years.

Cheers, D.

Remy Martins ,! now that's a proper drink ,second only to a pint of Guiness supped by an open fire .

Guiness is considered a pretty poor grade stout these days, with the exception of the 'foreign extra stout' that's a decent full flavoured complex beer.

Its like anything the more you put in the more you get out i just have a bit of a dabble its better than interest rates but its just currency at the end of the day.......ive got a Remy Martin Black Pearl one of the 140th anniversary bottles its worth about 17/18k it will never get drunk in my lifetime but there does come a time when they have to be drunk, thats when you know they are worthless :D

You can't beat a nice slow glass of Southern Comfort

But, as far as cans go, San Miguel and Kronenbourg are quite nice if they're ice cold.

Even the dog agrees

I drank san miguel in a pub in spain 50 cents a pint needless to say i dont remeber much of that night.

I'd say that's second on my favourites list from Guinness.
