National Action Banned Under Terrorism Legislation

A British neo-Nazi movement is to become the first far-right group to be banned under terrorism laws in the UK.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd said National Action was "a racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic organisation".

An order laid in Parliament to proscribe the group - making it a criminal offence to join or support it - is due to come into effect on Friday.

It will be the first time a group engaged in extreme right-wing activities has been proscribed.

Under the Terrorism Act 2000, the home secretary can proscribe an organisation if it is believed to be "concerned in terrorism".

Any members of this terrorist organisation on here? :whistling:

Sad to say their is but it will be good to see the labour party destroyed in the next G.E.

It's just more division, when the sheeple wake up and realise that division is what keeps the elite safe and us in control we might just stop hating each other and get our own life's back, left or rig

Talking about the political spectrum as though it is one dimensional is fraught with inconsistencies and paradoxes. The assumption that it can be easily represented as such is wrong.

I just had a look at the Home Office's list of proscribed organisations.......

Not surprisingly, the vast majority are Islamic, and there are a few in Northern Ireland, of course.

The remainder seem to be far left, Marxist or Communist ! Who'd have thought it ?

Considering many members on here like to act like there's some huge witch hunt against the far right it is odd that this is the first far right group to ever be proscribed as a terror organisation...

I hate this term The BNP, FN and plenty of parties that get labeled as far right are all left leaning in their economic policies.

If far right implies racist does that mean right wing parties like the conservatives are a bit racist?

p.s this is pretty ridiculous....has anyone ever heard of these people before???? They sounds like a small handful of nutters

Not that surprising you say you've never heard of them considering you've said on here before that you don't pay attention to British politics. They're probably the most active far right protest group in the UK.

There Probably going to be more popular now than they ever would have been pre ban... When are they ever going to learn

I don't think I ever said that I've always paid attention to British politics.

Like I say they sound like a handful of idiots to me, if they've only got a few members I think we can safely assume 'far right' groups aren't really a threat

Here's their giant march

You're right I just checked and you didn't say you don't pay attention just that British politics mean nothing to you now we're out of EU.

Such a pathetic turnout for the most active far right protest group in the UK, I guess there just isn't an appetite for their views here ;)
