roybo 2,873
Tbh when putting a sight hound under a bull x you never know how a litter will throw... Especially as regards to the heart. There's one thing for sure they'll be quick ,probably quick enough for anything. How tall the dog? As a 30" bitch is huge I'd be hoping they don't throw as big Quote Link to post
ginger beard 4,652
.there only 1/8 off being 3/4 bred aint they?aint a 3/8 5/8 practicly a 1/2 x? Quote Link to post

They'll be 3/16 bull mines the same % bull and you wouldn't know 1 Quote Link to post

They'll be 3/16 bull mines the same % bull and you wouldn't know I agree like iv previously said I know a lad who did the exact same breeding as what I'm doing with a racier 3/8 5/8 to an ex racer bitch some pups turned out like whippet/greyhounds others turned out like 3/4 grey 1/4 bull and the odd one had real bully heads, I'm in touch with 4 lads with pups out of that litter and all 4 do their job now I'm not saying that means the pups I'm going to breed will turn out this way but I can't do anymore the dog is a good worker and as for the bitch there isn't much better breeding for a pure greyhound out there 2 Quote Link to post

roybo 2,873
In no way slating the litter mate, just saying pick wisely and try and get the stamp you want although I'd imagine it will be a level litter with having a greyhound as a parent. I bet they'll motor a bit Quote Link to post
ginger beard 4,652
i've put my name down for 1 of these pups.never had a bull x before and looking forward to it,even thought of it's name.i expect that you could pick any pup from the litter and get a useful all rounder even if they come out at different ends of the bull-grey spectrum.for me anyway i'd prefur a real racy bull x. i think the slightly negative comments written would be the same for any litter. ginger beard 4,652
and if they do come out how i'd expect (strong greyhound body with a nice head)then thats perfect. Quote Link to post

A bit of sense, truth and open mindedness written there g b, and from someone that's not a 'dedicated' bull x fan. Be good to hear about your experiences with your pup, if you're fair enough to post about him/her. And to shady, for what it's worth, I think you're doing the right thing by sticking to your guns. You know what you want, so don't be put off by what other people might think/suggest. And unless you're a geneticist, you aint going to understand %ages any more than the rest of us lol. Good luck lads 2 Quote Link to post

ginger beard 4,652
and with the extra greyhound you won't look like a chavvy thuggy dumb 1/2 x owner. 1 Quote Link to post
