danielt 1
Was watching some animal programme on Sky last night and a dog had a nasty cut / gash to its leg. The vet / nurse put a generous helping of honey on the wound and lightly bandaged it up, then change the dresing daily, adding a little more honey and repeat for 3-4 days. Just thought I'd let you know, anyone tried this before ?

cúagusgiorraí 57
As long as the wound has been washed with a disinfectant. Honey applied every day, does speed the healing process. I like my dogs to lick their wounds, in my opinion, if it is only a minor wound.
