Bsa Scorpion Or Aa S400 Advice??

Recommended Posts

Both cracking rifles iv had one aa s400 with a custom stock but iv had 4 scorpion t10 with tactical stocks three in 22 and one in 177

some of the best rifles iv had and iv had some mind lol

the scorpion has its followers and its haters to but i think there top class in any cal

you have got to make sure you have the red mag (22) or the blue mag(177) as the old silver and black mags feck up after time the new ones self index and the old ones uses the indexing pin on the rifle to move the mag to the next pellet

there accuracy is second to none in my opinion.

PS,,if you do go for a scorpion fit an A,AND M, marksman silencer or a twink all you will hear is the action

DEADLY ,,DEADLY SILENT

thanks for advice chap,

wow i'm well impressed with the AAstock looks brill

i just remember the s400 dosent have a mag also i'll be shooting out the back of my truck or the window in the dark so loading singles is a pain,

but i had loads of kills with it,

it hard to choice as the bsa looks more compact and they would both be in 177

THEN THE SCORPION WOULD BE BETTER IF SHOOTING OUT THE TRUCK MORE COMPACT AND TEN SHOTS TO BOOT ,

and the tactical stock is spot on as its hard to mark it and when it gets covers in mud all you do is wipe it over with a cloth and warm soapy water and dry jobs a good un lol.

I think you can get a Rowen conversion ten shot mag for the s400 as mine was a ten shot but not sure about this but some one will be along soon to put me right Hopley if not lol

The mag version of the 400 is the 410 so that is an easy fix.

Air Arms 400 series guns have a position of great respect in this country but I really don't know what it is but I just don't like them, don't feel right somehow although the side lever 510 Ultimate sporter is a bit different. I have never shot a Scorpion because they are not popular in my neck of the woods, no RFD's for miles actually stock them......................... :hmm:

I have had a hold of one at the Shooting Show which I thought was spot on, fitted well in the shoulder with a good balance and would love to shoot one.

I would buy the Scorpion every time just because I am not a 400/410 fan.
