Custom Stocks?

I was looking on the internet to see if I could find a camo stock for my HW100KT and saw some stunning what looked like cam laminate stocks? But don't seem to able to find any anywhere?

Does anybody have any info on them at all please. The stock that Jimmy lightened is awesome and I don't want to damage it, especially if I ever think of moving it on.

I will ask when I go into my RFD today if he has any s/h stocks for the HW, then you just get it camo dipped. My RFD has a local guy who does it for about £100 and I think that could the whole gun but we will ponder that one if I can find you a stock.

I like the "look" of laminate but practically they add too much weight to a rifle -much prefer custom "wood" stocks

It is supposed to Mark but have to say that mine is perfect, no scratches or dings so perhaps some of the wood used is softer than others, luck of the draw I guess.

That HW100ktla that I had was fine. I never banged it about but, it did occasionally get rested on posts and trees for a shot.

It wasn't any worse than any other type of wooden stock for marking

I have been and asked if they have a stock but not able to search through the warehouse at that time, he also said that if he doesn't have one, it is quite likely that Hull Cartridge (the importer) quite often has some s/h stocks from when the action has been damaged so I will give them a chase tomorrow or Monday, Saturday will be too busy.

 

 

Give me a few days Shaun and we will see what is available mate. Are you wanting a sporter or thumbhole stock given a choice.

I DID put mine down in long grass and walked away from it took me 30mins to find the fecking thing honest mind it was dark lol

It was already on there when I bought it. The rfd told me that it's camo job that was done at the factory when it was made.

 

I must admit, it's not normally my thing - I love a bit of nice walnut and blued steel but, I really like this S10.

 

I've never looked into having camo done but, I have used the tape that Mac mentioned, it's good stuff and, it can be removed without leaving a mess
