Rake aboot 4,935
My old cocker Kes is sleeping in front of the log burner with my missus cuddling him in. 14 yrs old and had to have an eye removed today cause he still hunts hedge rows (buckthorn) The fact that he`s worked all his days and is as fit as hell is in his favour. Vet refused to believe his age . Been worried sick about him all day but if this means I get even another 6 months from this old dog it`ll have been worth doing. Looks bad but is actually a neat job. He`ll be back to being a fekin pain in no time. 16 Quote Link to post

Rake aboot 4,935
He already is Dave. Being a pain in the hoop as we speak. He`s discovered he can attract more attention by clobbering you with his lampshade ! 2 Quote Link to post
talt 878
The same thing happened to our American bulldog x staff earlier this year. It hasnt slowed him up in the slightest and he has adjusted well. He is nine and still loves to go out with the lurchers. 1 Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
Poor old bugger but he lost it doing what he loves. Its gonna be a bit tough on him, at his age learning to adjust using one eye but he will. Eye operations always look bad but usually heal well, i know, my old dog lost his eye. Damn shame you never got nothing out of him, as the song goes ' dunno what you got until its gone and you find out a little too late'.... Quote Link to post
