Tiercel 6,986
I bought a 6 year old 1800 Marina estate for 75 quid as a repossession car. £65 for the car and a tenner drop to the chap that was holding it for the bids. I put the strut kit on it instead of just the hydraulic arms, and it did handle better. I had it for 8 years and the engine never missed a beat. I would have had it for longer but I was going down a pitted road with loads of puddles, a puddle in front of me had half a brick showing so I thought this one is shallow, but it turned out to be the top of a pillar of bricks that went though the bottom of the car. So I scrapped it and sold the engine for a ton. TC
ollieollie 766
My first car was in fact a citroen van, 2nd hand from car dealer, looked at it the show room and was happy, test drive & still happy. wasn't till i got home i realised it didnt lock. had it 2 yrs and being lockless never bothered me.. in hindsight why the feck was a 2nd hand van inside the show room= because it didnt lock.. should have twigged
