Allan P 1,150
Why do we hunt, I think most of us can afford to eat and clothe ourselves so why do we do it? Quote Link to post
Shaddy93 840
I'd this some sort of anti question? I hunt because I enjoy being in the countryside, I love seeing dogs work and it gives me a break from the Mrs and kids, I have respect for everything I kill 5 Quote Link to post
terryd 8,641
Seeing a dog work or hearing that rumble of a rabbit about to bolt its priceless. Just pitting your wits to catch some thing with a net or a snare. Walking the fields with a longnet tucked away in darkness all priceless Quote Link to post
Tiercel 6,986
I hunt because I have to. Not out of financial necessity, but because it satisfies my necessity at the most basic level to provide. TC Quote Link to post

For me it's just being out and and about but sometimes I get pissed off when the bag is empty. Quote Link to post
Lenmcharristar 9,906
Sometimes the meat we eat tastes that bit nicer the way God made it, compared to the chemical pumped crap that's served to us these days, and for that reason we all should still have the freedom to be able to feed our families from the wild larder. 4 Quote Link to post
nothernlite 18,089
Just something that's in us love seeing dogs doing what there meant to be doing hunting 2 Quote Link to post

To be fair I meant the game meat you get in supermarkets never looks nice and always overpriced. 1 Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Nothing to do with the meat for me. Although it is a much welcomed bonus and definitely tastes better than supermarket meat. I've always been a dog person. My parents had dogs when I was born and I've never been without a dog in my 28 years. Watching them work is just the icing on the cake, I can't get my head around any dog lover not letting their dog do what nature intended. Nothing worse than seeing dogs what never come off the lead. 1 Quote Link to post
