10+ years ago you couldnt, but you could use the words BPCA qualified or trained. Is the NPTA still going? Become a servicing company member for a lot lot less and you can use the logo on advertising.

I have been a member of the NPTA for years.

 

The question was about the BPCA logo with "trained" on it.

 

Edited to add acutally it says "Qualified" not trained! It's on a pestie website that I saw today and I just wondered if it was okay...

No the BPCA are really tight on the use of the logo. You must be a member. Not even probationary members are allowed to use the logo. You can however state that you were trained by the BPCA being qualified is normally bodies like RSPH (Royal Society for Public Health) in conjunction with the BPCA.

i got a bollocking for doing that exact thing when i started on my own back in 2004,,,my add in yellow pages had the bpca logo and said member,,,,,i wasnt a member,,,,,i genuinly thought by passing the exam,,i automaticly became a member,,,,i was wrong...

 

all they did was chew me out a bit,,,and the following year i just amended the add to say bpca qualified...
