It looks cheap and nasty and handles the way it looks but thats just my opinion mind

 

mind fill in that big hole and just leave the thumb hole and make the stock out of a nice bit of walnut then they may have some thing special .

when i get time im going to take you to the factory perm mate then you will see the hw100 carbine 177 in action

 

And dont get your self worked up about shooting mate if you dont feel your ready then just tag along and watch and learn

 

simple as that .

I've decide I'm going to hold on Jimmy, I was at Bradford & Stalkers this afternoon buying a 7ltr cylinder and saw something I really liked the look off??

One of the fellas there advised not 177 if I was wanting to hunt, apparently it's not got the knock down power off .22 and you have to be very accurate?

The one I was looking at Jimmy is the Daystate Air Ranger.

​don't be put off 177 by that statement!!

shot placement is everything when it comes to hunting and unless a .22 has had the power well n truly turned up don't think about body shots!

i had a daystate airwolf in 177 and that dropped rabbits at up to 80yrd but it needed to be a well placed head shot!!

never had a problem with the wolf, i only got rid cos it was too long for dragging through the woods and bushes!!

bang on is not a problem with a daystate!!

but your still aiming at the same place with a .22 but you have more of a trajectory issue to deal with!!

they both have pro's and cons.. i use both cals but i prefer 177 for rabbits
