TOMO 27,095
i have done it , but not in the proper or romantic way portrayed in books. theres a place not far from me , a country park. this park borders some very good flat land that holds good numbers of hares, wich i used to persue befor the ban. any way this place is rolling grass land, that has fenced of areas with the trees growing . in some of these rabbit proof fences there are gaps . so i used to go up with the old dog and a net or two and bingo. the hares liked going in the little plantation things, as the grass was never cut and it must have been good shelter and good food with all the wild plants. i know its not sporting but with an old dog that couldnt catch a hare for toffie even in her younger days it was great fun, and to be honest came natural to a moocher like myself. just taking advantage of a situation . to me thats what poaching is about. in fact i aint been up there for a few years. i will have to go for a walk up there 1 Quote Link to post
