I don't think I could live with myself if the next day I saw on the news that some innocent child had died in terrible circumstances or with no explanation and it could be because I pressed the button.

 

There was a similar film about a man who let his wife sleep with another man for a million quid. It ruined their lives.

 

There's more to life than money and I'm okay as I am. Feck knows how my life would change with a million quid in the bank but it isn't always for the better as we've seen before.

 

I quite enjoy working hard to provide for my family and to have the nice things we have. Maybe enjoy is the wrong word. Work is wank. But it's a sense of pride.

 

It wouldn't be the same sat on my arse knowing someone died so I could have a bigger house and a faster car and not have to go to work.

 

But like others have said nobody really knows until faced with the situation.

Human nature is fascinating sometimes i love the way money reveals the depth of a mans character in a game he often doesnt even know he,s playing......so all you lads who can be bought how many of you would grass on your fellow man for a million quid ?.....you watch everyone do a quick macho u - turn now the dreaded " grass " word has been thrown in there ......i suppose knowing a stranger has died by your actions is ok but getting them nicked no thats unforgiveable

 

So far on this thread Wilf is just about the only person i would fully trust in a situation which being out of the same area makes me feel quite proud in a strange sort of way.

i liked what kanney said in the first page,,,karma's a bitch....and im no buddhist ,,,but i never want to be responcible for any death...my poor old man was involved in an rta a long time ago,,,his artic truck killed a guy,,,,the accident wasnt my old mans fault and he was prisaed by other drivers for his actions ,,,yet one poor fella died.....my old man has got on with his life ,,hes the strong silent type,,stiff upper a lip and all that,,old school some might say.....but the incident bloody afected him...
