gnasher16 30,597
Human nature is fascinating sometimes i love the way money reveals the depth of a mans character in a game he often doesnt even know he,s playing......so all you lads who can be bought how many of you would grass on your fellow man for a million quid ?.....you watch everyone do a quick macho u - turn now the dreaded " grass " word has been thrown in there ......i suppose knowing a stranger has died by your actions is ok but getting them nicked no thats unforgiveable So far on this thread Wilf is just about the only person i would fully trust in a situation which being out of the same area makes me feel quite proud in a strange sort of way.

Astanley 11,588
Some of you chaps put far too much importance on money ,its a waste of time having any morals or principles if you would abandon them for something as unimportant as money .

Most abandon them for no money whatsoever, nothing new there.

Can't see how there is any pride in staying quiet over someone doing another harm, self preservation maybe but certainly not any pride.

I don't know wilf at all so he might be exactly as he is on here . I'm not trying to sully his name I'm just using him as a reference point because you've mentioned him . What people say and do when the time comes can be very different . Away from wilf now , plenty of mafia informers have been staunch men who pledged alliegance and were never thought of as risks to the mafia but when push came to shove they ratted. Sammy gravano I'm thinking about . If this situation was 100% real and 100% legit( no chance of box blowing up on you etc) and no comebacks and a guy had a million in cash in front of you it might be a different story when you think about being able to put your kids through university . Could help your parents out and make your Mrs incredibly happy by taking financial worry away from her . All that being said. If a random guy literally came to my house with a box and posed the same question I'd turn it down . It sounds so surreal and weird I wouldn't even consider it Legit. Again not intending to slab wilf off it was simply becUse his name was mentioned I used him as a example

WILF 48,360
Fair point mate, let me put it like this...... 1: the numbers being spoken about ain't that big for a start 2: even if it was a hundred million then me personally would take the view that I never had it and I was alright so not having it now won't make any difference and as I said, I can still live with myself as a man. Some things you just can't buy
