Just a few pics from mooches over the last week or so. Had a few bunnys with red bitch on the lamp but mostly been doing daytime mooching and a spot of ferreting. Not been getting any big numbers but it's nice to be out all the same...

I've been doing a bit out towards Whitchurch with King off here and rabbit numbers are struggling mate. A few small pockets but on the whole there's not a lot about.

 

I was down Hereford last week and there were real good numbers down that way. Rabbits by the dozen in every field.

 

I'm seeing more local than I have seen for a few years. Had hardly any Myxi over the summer and there's deffinitely more about just now.

 

Where abouts in the country are you fella?

 

I'm not too fussed about numbers now, just love being out seeing the dogs work. I would rather bolt to the dogs and watch it give the dogs a good run and get away than net up and it go in the bag.

 

Don't get me wrong a good night on the lamp bagging up is fantastic but I'm just as happy mooching about for 1 or 2.

Hard to beat a good mooch about love to see a dog use its nose good picture gaz give me that any day to a night on the lamp.

Most of my perms in Cheshire Gaz,did one last week always good for a dozen or more ,we must have laid over 200 nets for four rabbits lol Don't need a boot full to make it a good day,but its a bit disheartening crawling round in Blackthorn all day for four lol

My hounds - it was a nice drop of whiskey.

 

Neems - Cheers fella you wouldn't believe the grub she gets. She must burn so many calories from being so active compared to the lurchers that I have to feed her twice a day. She eats better than me and gets enough for a mastiff. Lol.

 

Mud - she is spot on with the ferrets mate. Even when she's really worked up after missing a bolter or grabbing a rabbit in the net she doesn't touch the ferret when it's head pops out.

I didn't see all the pictures last night for some reason..that black dog looks fine..and it's good with the ferts..carnt be bad...
