DIDO.1 22,846
I can understand kids in care getting abuse, or abuse by family...because the kids are trapped and feel they can't asked for help. But 11-15 lads getting touched by a football coach....I don't get it....I'd of stuck a knife in him at that age. I'm not trying to belittle what they went through...I just can't get my head around it. And as been said...ashamed but then blubbing on national TV. It's like being embarrassed about your itchy cock then flopping it out on TV for embarrassing bodies. Again not taking piss, it's just strange

And if one tells you "if you say anything I will kill your family, because I know where you live" what are you going to do? The ones that did report it, as in all the abuse case from that era were classed as trouble makers and not believed or ignored. So they were dammed if they did and dammed if they did not. TC Yeah I get that. And I'm not belittling child abuse...but...11-15 years old! These weren't family, or kids in care...they weren't vulnerable. I just think at even 11 I wouldn't of let a coach touch my dick

TC Yup,a lot more transparency nowadays,20-30+ years ago it was hushed up or brushed under the carpet in a lot of instances, watch the movie Spotlight, nowadays things are easier to talk about thanks to social media etc.

I just think at even 11 I wouldn't of let a coach touch my dick These men are proper predators ,they stay clear of the spirited kids ,the ones likely to kick up a fuss or defend themselves , they wait until they spot a vulnerable kid ,a lonely boy ,the quiet introvert ones ,the gullible ,the weak ,they have an instinct for this or they don't last long .
Tiercel 6,986
One thing that has not been said, is that it is never the childs fault, never ever. They were abused, manipulated by adults for their own gratification. They are the victims of these predators and unless you have been a victim yourself I do not think any of us are qualified to question their reactions?
