If your used to a blitz and wanting one don't buy a plr500, you won't be happy with it.

For me the beam is far too tight for dog work and I also find rabbits hard to spot at times,

especially on rougher ground.

The LED lamps just dont cut it for me or my dogs and that goes for everyone I have lamped with and their dogs ...doesnt pick up quarry the same but I can only say how I have found it its up to you lads what you spend your money on

thats fair point its each to there own, ive got one from D/L led lamp and its good , i was lamping from my motor, just looking whats about , and the beam was ok no prob ,Buck caught couple rabbits with it, and being honest it was nice change not messing about wires/battery , and having it all in the lamp . ive got a 170 striker ,and its a great lamp, caught loads game with it , from long slips . i think having one of D/L led lamps with you , and had to your other lamps is a good thing, even if you dont use it its bloody good back up , if your lamp packed in deff

I think at the time he had 3 types for sale and mines the middle one.caught plenty with it and the battery is in the handle so no annoying leads.happy days
